Despite the impact this measure has caused on an important date, the impact is less than when there were the mass cancellations that some airline customers faced during the summer and fall of this year, as airlines, including American and Southwest, faced staff shortages.
They ask the CDC to relax guidelines
This Thursday, both United Airlines and Delta asked the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to open a loophole in the quarantine guidelines for fully vaccinated people who test positive for the virus. COVID five days out of the current 10.
This is because they are working with a small staff that is beginning to feel signs of fatigue due to long working hours.

Both companies apologized to their clients for the inconvenience caused due to the delays that could arise due to this measure.
