According to the researchers, the scammers they send emails in which I knowand pretend to be lawyers  that require home buyers to send them thousands of dollars for closing costs.

The investigator of Better Business BureauSteve Baker, said that there has been a lot of ereal estate email scams between 2015 and 2017.

"The eighty percent of companies have received one of these emails in the last year," he said.

The BBB's advice to consumers is call to confirm all money transactions and don't trust emails.
