Marisa Casablanca is a partner in the Casablanca Legal Group PL firm with offices in several states. She has dedicated herself to practicing law in United States Immigration and Nationality for 20 years. Her practice includes the representation of corporate clients and individuals in obtaining immigration assistance and benefits, such as work visas and EB5 (Green card for job creation). Attorney Casablanca practices in all areas of immigration from business and residency visas for aliens to the representation of family members of permanent residents and US citizens; she also represents those seeking asylum.
Marisa Casablanca has extensive experience representing litigation. She is admitted to practice before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She provides guidance to employers and individuals regarding compliance with procedures and maintaining their legal status in the United States. She is certified by the Florida Bar as an Immigration Specialist.
Author of “Immigration Law for Paralegals” published by Carolina Academic Press. Casablanca was again named a Florida “Super Lawyer” in the field of immigration law in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Casablanca currently chairs the Mexico City District Chapter and co-chairs the Mediation Committee for the Department of State of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
