Santiago Padilla has been practicing law for more than 20 years, most of this time with large law firms in the United States based in the cities of Atlanta, Miami and New York. As such, Dr. Padilla brings with him the experience and sophistication of the practice of large law firms to offer it to his individual and corporate clients.
Dr. Padilla began practicing law in 1990 with the law firm of Troutman, Sanders, Lockerman & Ashmore, one of the largest law firms in Atlanta, Georgia. At the time, Dr. Padilla's practice concentrated on labor and employment matters, including litigation cases in State and Federal Courts, such as cases under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Standards Act Fair Labor Laws, the Law Against Discrimination for the Disabled and the Law on Age Discrimination in the Workplace. Dr. Padilla also gained extensive experience in commercial transactions, having represented large United States companies in domestic and international litigation. Indeed, Dr. Padilla is a professional who has the unique benefit of having worked on complex commercial litigation as well as sophisticated business transactions, giving him the ability to use his extensive experience to the benefit of his clients.
Dr. Padilla is a member of the Florida and Georgia State Bars and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
