In most counties of the south florida there was a increase in home sales in the third quarter of the year.

For Miami Real Estate Agents Association the third quarter of 2019 was excellent, in the only county where home sales fell in Florida, it was in Palm Beach which fell by 1.8% compared to 2018, reported therealdeal.com.
This increase in sales was due to a influx of buyers from high-tax states -as is the case in New York- and the decrease in mortgage rates.
According to data from the Miami Association of Realtors, in the month of July sales were excellent, they increased especially in Palm Beach County. During the month of august there were falls in closures across the state, however in September increased sales in double digits in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Miami-Dade County
In the miami-dade county, total sales of single-family homes and condominiums increased by 4.6% compared to 2018. Single-family home sales were up 7,5% and condo sales were up 1.9%.
The median price of single-family homes increased 2.8% to about $370,000, while the median price of condominiums increased 4.3% to about $245,000.

Broward County
In the broward county, sales of single-family homes rose 4% in the third quarter, while condominium sales increased 6.4%.
The median price of a single-family home increased to $370,000, up 4.2%, and the median price of a condo grew by 4.8%.
