"I want you to hear directly from me how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting our services. The first thing you should know is that we continue to pay benefits. Keep in mind that scammers may try to trick you into thinking your Social Security payments will stop due to the pandemic, but this is not true. Do not be fooled.
To protect you and help prevent the spread of this coronavirus, do notor we can accept visitors in our offices for now. There are other ways you can get help. A lots of Services are available online at www.socialsecurity.gov. If you have an urgent need that you cannot fulfill online, we will we can help by phone.
Please visit our COVID-19 website at www.ssa.gov/espanol/coronaviruss to find out which services we will continue and which we will stop, how communicate with us, and important information about the deadlines we are extending for ease the burden on you and to medical providers during the pandemic.”
