Luis David Ramirez is a mechanical engineer graduated from the prestigious Simón Bolívar University in Caracas. He has completed postgraduate courses specializing in Maintenance Management at the University of Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela; Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Carolina (USA); and Master in Business Process Management from the University of San Francisco (USA).

As a complement to his rigorous academic training, Luis has attended executive education programs in Marketing, New Product Development, Organization and Strategy, Negotiation and International Management at prestigious American universities such as Stanford, Wharton, Michigan and Thunderbird.

With more than 35 years of professional experience, Luis has concentrated in the last 15 years in the practice of management consulting in areas such as business development, financial evaluations, strategic planning, business development and market research. Similarly, Luis has been incorporated into several companies as a director or as a member of the board of directors.

Luis David Ramirez is currently the president-founder of Shield Consulting, a firm specializing in management consulting services for the small and medium business sector in Florida.
