The governor of Florida, Ron De Santis, held a press conference in Volusia County this Sunday, discussed the latest information on the coronavirus pandemic in florida within hours of the start of phase one of the reopening of the State.

DeSantis announced the creation of a mobile test lab inside an RV that will be traveling around the state to different long-term facilities for assess residents to detect the coronavirus, reported clickorlando.com,

Likewise, the Republican governor assured that the tests that will be used in the mobile laboratory will give the results in 45 minutes.

Governor DeSantis has stressed the importance of continuing to test people for COVID-19, even as businesses return to work.

In this regard, the governor indicated that the antibody tests may apply statewide CVS, Walgreen's y Walmart.

elective surgeries

During the conference at the hospital in Daytona Beach, «DeSantis announced the restart of elective surgeries, which had been suspended during the coronavirus pandemic,' he announced  clickorlando.com.

Medical officials present at the press conference indicated that patients will be examined at checkpoints several days before surgery.

The surgeries to be performed will be aneurysm, limb salvage, symptomatic gallbladder and hernia surgeries, and cancer-related surgeries.
