The November 5, lufthansa Cargo launched a weekly service cargo transport between Frankfurt and the Miami International Airport, returning to the Miami market after more than 25 years. All flights will use B777 cargo aircraft.

"Our community already benefits from the world-class daily service that Lufthansa offers passengers, and we look forward to the additional economic impact that its cargo service will have on our community."

Germany is MIA's main European trading partner by volume, with imports and exports between the two markets amounting to to $2.200 billion in 2018. MIA established a new record 1,95 million tons of international cargo in 2018, maintaining his position as the busiest airport of the United States in that category.

Operated by the modern and efficient 777 freighter, the LH8171 is scheduled to every tuesday night«.
